Who I am

Hey! I'm Cullen, a Game Design and Development student at the Rochester Institute of Technology.

I've always loved exploring the unknown, whether it's backpacking through the Alps, learning new software and languages, or creating vast 3D environments and fictional game worlds.

My primary focus is to act as a bridge between technology and creativity, allowing both sides to shine through in whatever work I'm doing

Target Practice

Group Class Project, 2019

My Responsibilites

Developed a 3D FPS camera with full rotation and WASD movement, using quaternions to prevent Gimbal Lock

Implemented AABB Collision detection for the first person character

Created data structures to implement menus, track bullets, ammo, time, and score

Imported, created, and laid out original FBX models of boxes, walls, and barrels into the OpenGL scene

Capital City Guessing Game

Solo Class Project, 2019

A Geography game using Google's Street View, Maps, and Firebase

Data pulled from the World Bank API and displayed with VueJS and Bootstrap

Interact with a live version of the site, Enter a user name to save your high score!

My Role

Sole Developer, Designer

My Responsibilites

Implemented Google's Streetview, Firebase and Map APIs into a web game using JavaScript

Designed a reactive, responsive page using VueJS and Bootstrap, also creating page styles with CSS and HTML

Wrote a proxy to receive capital coordinate data from the World Bank API

Stored and displayed high scores on the site via Firebase

Created in 36 hours, prompted off 2 random Tarot cards (Empress, 9 of Swords)

Implemented functionality for menus, UI, and level selection into the Unity pipeline with C#

An interactive quiz experience with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, using the Jservice API

Interact with a live version of the site, use the drop downs and sliders to find questions, hover over them for the answersOnly Available For Play on Desktop Version

Designed the layout and functionality of the webpage to make it an interactive 'game'

Used Jquery and CSS to create an appealing, responsive layout

My Responsibilites

Programmed realistic ice physics, collision detection, and movement; along with random enemy movement

Created a 'shot power' system for projectile acceleration from user input of holding down the spacebar

Developed all art assets, UI, menus, and C# scripts
